JOB DESCRIPTION: Dowley Security Systems, Inc. is looking for an experienced security systems installation expert to serve as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will schedule service calls and all other activities required for the effective management and maintenance of access controls, fire alarms, closed circuit televisions, burglar alarm systems and voice and data service activity.

The Dispatcher position will involve:

Receiving work requests from customers and coordinating the routing of technicians to fulfill those orders.

Coordinating work schedules with the General Manager, Operations Manager, Project Managers, Svc Techs, Lead Techs, Technicians and/or Installers and customers to find the most efficient and prioritized means to assign available resources and accomplish the work at hand.

Submitting completed work orders to the Finance department for billing in a timely manner.

Coordinating with the Purchasing Director and Logistics Coordinator on the delivery and receipt of supplies on a daily basis.

Generating Dowley work orders to document and specify scope of work.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Dispatcher, it will be your duty to coordinate and document all service call assignments and to serve as customers’ point of contact with the company to ensure the best possible customer service.

Filling out and distributing the daily route sheet.

Confirming the proper completion of service tasks.

Reviewing all time sheets as they are submitted, reconciling them against current projects and checking them for accuracy, correctness and completeness.

Supporting the clerical and administrative needs of the Operations Department on an as-needed basis.

Minimizing Dowley's exposure to risk.

Enforcing all Dowley policies and procedures.


KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, & CERTIFICATION:
As a Dispatcher, you must display exceptional organization and time-management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple projects. It will also be vital for you role as a Dispatcher that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to customer service.

Required

Proven experience in the engineering and installation of electronic security, access control, CCTV, fire extinguishers and fire alarm systems

Strong knowledge and experience with fire alarm systems; Fike, EST, Silent Knight and Fire-lite experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge and experience with CCTV; Genetec experience strongly preferred

All required state and local licenses

Associates degree (2 year) or Bachelor degree (4 year) in a technical capacity preferred

NICET Level III in Fire Alarm Systems preferred

NICET Level IV in Video Security Systems Technician preferred
